Hey. Cool video. I’m booked in to get this done next week. I have to get the all laser surgery, so they won’t be putting that can opener on my eye. i had that done too, couple years ago. Its priceless to regain your vision. It feels like having a new graphic card implanted. Contacts or glasses ar no match to this. This gives real live quality, i could rejoice everyday.

Actually, its only now that I am gona consider Lasik seriously, I thought they removed your lens out and did stuff to it and then put it back for some reason o_O. Didn’t realize it was just the flap … it seems like a very clean procedure. I am gona have to look up the complications propa first …

I always hear that there is no pain during this surgery, but ill bet its extremely uncomfortable. It will probably be worse for me since my eyes water easily and im sure ill be automatically fighting to blink them even with that contraption keeping my eyelids shut and the drops put in. My uncle had this done and he said it takes 15 minutes per eye. I cant imagine not blinking for that long especially with a light shining in my eye. Was it difficult to keep your eye still and not blink?

Geez, this vid brings back memories!. I also had the LASIK procedure in my mid-20’s, but only after my vision was stable (-4) for 3 years. It looks more painful than what it actually is…there’s was only minor discomfort for a few days. The benefits far outway that discomfort. Over the past 7 years not wearing contacts or glasses, I can say have been a ‘miracle’… I still have close to perfect vision….if your considering getting it done….DO IT!
